Its Good To Blog

Heya peeps! Sorry I've been away so long, really and truly. There's just been so much to do, especially with the Bulan Membaca next month, and the school Edu Fair, and the homework mountain... It's been such a exhausting two weeks.

And here I shall say,

I NEED A BREAK!

So there's Cheer 2007 *smiles blissfully*. Honestly, I think my neck region is slowly being strained and contorted from bending over books. Hunchback of Kuala Lumpur I shall be called then *gasp*. I did quite like that show when I was a wee kid though. Hehe

Alright, back to Cheer. Shirtliff is doing just all right. I don't suppose its extroadinarily climatical, but they'll put on a decent show. The few people I'm worried about in the team are Mei Li, who is a national gymnast but precariously unstable. *bits lip* And Wei Lin, whose musclethumb region is currently under strain and has to be bandaged... And to the others I know, Louise, Rachel, Amanda, Jasmine (coz she's so cute =3) and Syaira (yes, even her)... Stay strong, rock the world, cheer on, and, like Cik Seri Devi says 'Stunt Safe.'

Can't wait to catch the other squads progress this year too. Looking forward to Dynamitez (du-uh!), Titans, Vulcanz (BOYS, double Du-Uh XD), Sellors, Anchorz, Xylurf (coz of my tuition partner), Calyx (coz of Meng Jin -.-" curse you) and... Zodiacz. Did I spell that right? Hahaha, go Ken!

'Look good even if everyone else doesn't'
That was from Ken by the way. Hahaha... So true!

Hope to see you guys there!! LOTS of huggies and kissies and... POKES!

Relay for Life

Date : 2-3rd June 2007
Place : MSN Stadium, Bukit Jalil

OK, so no girls managed to bend to my will, and I ended up with 4 guys at my disposal - Sai doesn't count coz he left early.

Nevertheless it was fun, in a twisted, sardonic way. Dust, sweat and rain maketh thou miserable but hyper. It was incredibly cold and wet at night, and impossibly hot the next morning. God hath no mercy. TT

The Battle of the Bands was terrible. Alright, one, maybe two, sounded decent enough, but most just banged, screeched, in an attempt to bust eardrums. Therefore, those of us who couldn't stand the mental torture, (namely Julian and I) excused ourselves like the cowards we were XD.

Keith ran like crazy. Respect ma'n (think Jamaican accent). About 26 rounds, for the endurance race, and practically non-stop throughout the entire shmuck. Kok Peng ran too o.O. Scary. And surprisingly, Andy did too!! Trumpets please! hahaha

Oh, and while doing a lap, Julian and I met an old lady, who asked us if we were cancer survivors. We said no, of course... And returned the question. 'I had cancer for 20 years.' W-O-W. I said that, literally. She then asked if we were supporters, and we said 'yes', and she gave us the most beautiful smile ever. It was a smile of admiration and hope. We gave her the thumbs up, and never did see her again =/.

Sai had fun with the lighters, it has something to do with a 'fuse' and I'll leave it at that. I can't believe he went for a CF camp, you know, not being Christian and all. But now he's listening and singing along to Hillsong! XD Sad when his mommy ordered him back. Oh well.

All but one of the Luminari paper bags survived. And... OK I'm stuck. Still waiting for pictures from Kok Peng.

I WANT PICTURES! URGH.

Are You an Optimist or a Pessimist?

pessimistoptimist
Well, everything's not quite roses and teddy bears for you, but you do tend to look on the bright side of life (we can hear those Monty Python boys whistling right now...). Sure, you sometimes bitch and moan about your problems (who doesn't?), but deep down you're pretty sure that everything will eventually turn out fine. When the weather man says it's going to be sunny, you leave your umbrella at home. In general, you like to be around people, and you try to make new friends when you can. You do your best to take things at face value, rather than making mountains out of molehills. Basically, the world is sort of like a big coconut to you: tough and hairy on the outside, but, when you get down into it, there's good stuff inside.

my best quality

Aileen, your best quality shines through in how Creative you are

The fact that you're an inventive and creative person who usually has an abundance of imagination and ideas really draws people to you! But that's not the only thing. Your answers on the test indicate you're an independent person who is usually able to handle things in a self-sufficient manner. You are a smart person who is more able to understand complex concepts than many other people are, too.

In all, there are 15 qualities that help define you when you're at your best. Those are the traits potential employers, friends, and partners look for in you. What makes you unique is your particular distribution of those 15 qualities.

We've found that your particular combination of qualities is rare — only 1 in 10,000 people share the same general mix of traits. Those are great odds if you're trying to show a potential employer, colleague, friend, or date why you're exactly the right person for them.

bored

Aileen, your summer dream job is a Dream Specialist

Forget the snooze button, lazy bones, you're on your own time clock this summer. For a professional nodder like you, a day job couldn't get much dreamier. If you wanna spend your summer crashing on the beach, in your bed, or in front of a 53-inch high definition TV — then you better make sure you've got the tools of the trade. PJs? Check. Blanket? Check. Responsibility? Not needed.

Saying pshaw to schedules, you'd rather take life as it comes. The easy way out is your favorite way in. Of course, between busy shifts of shut-eye this summer, you might just try to hang with friends, grab a meal or two, heck, maybe even plan an activity. Just don't stress yourself out too much - or you'll need a nap to recover. Sweet dreams.

Thank You's

Last Wednesday, my bro went out with friends (girls! *sigh* he's growing up *wipes a tear*). Going there wasn't a problem, it was coming BACK. So, as the wonderfully considerate sibling that I am (and also because he begged to his knees), I went along to make sure that he was safe.

Thank you to all the people who totally saved my butt from absolute boredom! And yes, Times Square is pretty boring. urgh.

They are, namely : Keith (for everything, seriously), Kok Peng (haha, thanks for joining us at the end), and Bryant (my 'lil' bro. sorry i didnt really accompany you... And I'm sorry you felt awkward. *hugs*)

when it gets boring we camwhore, camwhore, camwhore

no outing is complete without a toilet picture!
