Haven't You Heard?

The tears just wouldn't come out right. Maybe it isn't time, not yet anyway. At least, thats what I told Zi Kang. He said he was going to trash his room and pull out all the imaginary feathers in his pillow. I was supposed to rip the heads off all my soft toys.

Sports Day is tomorrow anyway, who cares about the competition? Pn Jasbir confirmed that we are half lost anyway, so why bother?

No, we didn't win the board. So much work went into that stupid thing, and Maclay walks of winner. After all that, second place sucks. Quoting Pn Jasbir, 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.' Pengetua evaluated today already. It was effing TACKY.

How can Maclay get more points for Sukantara? I don't know. I.don't.know.

I don't know if Pn Jasbir is initially lying to deflate us, she just isn't that kind of person. Personally, I don't really believe, but I'm afraid to be proven wrong, everybody is.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW SHIRTLIFF CAN NOT WIN!

All of us went beyond the call of duty.

We started the earliest.

We are the most systematic, we ALWAYS finish on deadline. Unlike some.
We work together. 2008 seniors rock rock ROCK!

Our Saringan was strong. Everybody admits.
We have the most renowed artists in the school.

We came to school on WEEKENDS.

Our kawad is coordinated. Though Prouse is, admittedly, unique. =)

We help other houses, and vice versa.

Our mascots are so WOW. Long live the Aztecs!

Our tent design and production started a week earlier before everyone.

We finished today while others were still slogging everywhere.

We exceeded the budget the most. XD

We spent RM 145 for a freegin feather string from Petaling Street because Zi Kang had deja vu and both he and Philip are useless bargainers.

We spend RM 100 plus for costume rental.

Philip did a wonderful job with the flag.

I slept at 7pm yesterday and woke at 2am today to finish our banners, and stayed up until now.

I have double sided tape cuts from doing those! I never want to see gold dust again. Ever.

For those who don't know, or care; and here I'm referring to non-SBUians. Sports Day is a VERY VERY cataclysmic force of the school year. Come to the school field to catch the march past and performances by students. Believe me, it'll be good. Always is.

And after all that, I still believe ITS OUR TURN.

If not, you'll just find a whole bunch of us crying in the middle of the field in the midafternoon sun. Thats all.

Happy Rat Year

It's that time of year again! So far my favouritest guests were the last ones we had. Joy! The twins look beautiful, radiant, to-be-21 year-olds, Joshua looks like Andy, but presumably more dashing, and Shaun looks like, well, Shaun. With extra eyebags, the poor soul.

They all went to see Switchfoot! I can't believe this! If this had come to my knowledge earlier I would definitely have been allowed to go! Why not? Shaun is 25, Bernice and Eunice are 21, and Joshua is 16 - Lots of tender loving care. Whyyyyyy?? Yeah, you can hear me moaning, twiching and unleashing tantrums on whoever unfortunate enough to come close. In this case, Josh. Sorry darling! XD

The mothers think we look alike, I beg to differ. I wanna go to Canada with them!

The boys. They all kinda look alike. Oh, look, traffic lights!

Funny face time! Love this one =D

I hate my camera flash, it sucks.
Too big for Andrew, just right for me; Nevermind that it flaunts the line 'Tough Guy'.
Publish-able? Haha working on it.

Who misses my camwhoring days? I bet you do, I bet you so do =p

Happy 200

Dear blog, happy 200th! You are officially two-century-posts old!

Oh and what a coincidence, Switchfoot is here today. Probably still playing now, at KL Convention Center... A half-decent, innocent band comes practically next door, open to my convenience, and yet, I'm stuck at home. Not like I tried to ask. No point in throwing gasoline into the fire; or start any friction in the first place. Its a definite NO.
Julian had better get that guitar.

God is great. Ask and you shall receive. I've been out the whole day, Subash, dentist, Midvalley...

The dentist says I have Class 2 Division 2 teeth. I'd wager its pretty serious, because apparently my upper and lower jaw needs work. And you know how perfect teeth are arched nicely? Mine's not. My front teeth are flat and angled back, while my back teeth are angling to the front. Not good! So after some private and confidential discussion, (no, seriously) I will extract my teeth AND do my braces after SPM. I'm joining you Ken! and Keith... and Melody... ahahaha
and Yee Vonne...

The Guardian

I am further convinced that I'm strangely abnormal. Most people cry during love stories or movies. I cried watching The Guardian.

It's a story of responsibility, guilt, love (you didn't think it'd be completely devoid of it, did you?), sacrifice, and more importantly, redemption.

Ashton Kutcher (Fisher)is a 24-year-old who joins the U.S. Coast Guard to save lives after losing his friends and swim team mates in a terrible care accident. He was the driver, and the only survivor.
Kevin Costner (Senior Officer Randall) is a reputable Coast Guard. With hundreds of lives in debt to him, he is still haunted by the past : by those he failed to rescue.

The scenes I will always remember :

Scene 1

Fischer : It's like he's pissed with me for breaking every one of his records...

Girlfriend : Maybe he just wants to you be better...

Aged bartender walks over, leans over the bar.

Bartender : I'll tell you one record you won't break.

Walks away, takes down a newspaper article on the wall.

Bartender : This ship was sinking. It carried 22 passengers. Randall managed to save all of them, cept 1. The nearest base was 20 minutes away. With a broken winch and a patient hanging on, he said, 'I'll never let go.'

He never did. Tore all his tendons and dislocated his shoulder, and he never did let go. Unfortunately, the guy died anyway.

Break that record, then come tell me.

Scene 2

Fisher : There's something I gotta know, though, before you leave... What's your real number? (Number of save people).

Randall : 22

Fisher : *Shocked* umm... thats, alright, I guess. Not 200/300 (as rumoured)... But you know, it's still good...

Randall : 22 is the number of people I lost. Its the only number I'll ever remember...

Scene 3

Fisher : Don't do what I think you're gonna do!

Randall : The cable won't hold both of us!

Fisher : Senior Officent... don't!

Randall falls, Fisher catches one arm.

Fisher : I'll never let go!

Randall : I know...

Randall unstraps his glove, and he slips, and falls - almost gracefully, into the churning waves.

The U.S. Coast Guard then launched the biggest search for a single man in history. His body was never found. Sometimes the men joke about him being washed ashore on an island, and that he's now sitting on a rock, fishing. Just like he'd planned after he left. But I really do wonder where he is now...

I got my answer soon after. I pulled a guy out from a mildly hypothermia area. I was the first rescuer on the scene. Disorientated as he was, he insisted that there was a rescuer with him the whole time, 'But he was there! He was there he whole time... Said he'd never leave me... Never did,' he said. And so I knew...

He's there, beyond the waves, doing what he's always done: looking out for others. He'll always be their hero. He is The Guardian.

'So Others May Live.'

* * *

The Guardian made me think of God, and the U.S. Coast Guard's slogan made me think of Jesus. Queer, but that's the way it is. =)

The Lord is my lifevest. He gives me hope when I have none, He is my lifevest when I am drowning, He is my saviour. My guardian, always and forever.

Who's your guardian?

Back! - Again

The second time my computer returned from the Intensive Care Unit at Carrefour, Wangsa Maju, a lot of goings-on has trainspired.

Location : School Field
Event : Shirtliff House Practice
Sub-Event : 100m unofficial trials

Me : *screams at juniors* Don't ever, EVER change lanes while running!! Do you want to bang each other at those speeds, fall over, and BREAK A LEG!? Don't laugh!! It's not funny! Don't laugh I say!! etc etc

Shin Ee : Umm... Aileen, dyou know that the SBS people are staring at you?

Me : *gasps and hides behind the bushes*

* * *

Location : Carrefour Wangsa Maju
Event : Retreival of CPU
Sub-Event : Toilets

What kind of contractor builds the male and female toilets side by side with one main entrance branching out into two, very nearly identical places of worship? Plus, the girls sign is the first thing you see, so you go 'Oh, this is the girls toilet. Yay!'

Conclusion : I got stuck in a cubicle in a guys toilet, bending down to observe various shoes, and vandalisme on the left 'wall' stating, Bohsia Setiawangsa, 014..........6. And I was there for half an hour. I so very much freaked out, that if I had any pee left in me, I'd pee in my pants. I nearly cried, it was oh-so frustrating!!

And then when I did manage to slink my way out, my mom screams at me, and makes me show her the place, because she thinks its 'ridiculous' that anything like that could happen.

Story, I walked in, and it was empty at that time. Then, I noticed the individual peeing what-nots, and almost turned. But, a guy and two kids came in, so I hid in a cubicle. Make sense so far? I'm sure it does.

So I wait, bidding my time until they leave. But as luck should have it, guys kept coming in and I had no chance of escape. Therefore I, the pitiful, was to be stuck in an abysmal cubicle, amid sounds of guys spitting into the toilet bowl in the cubicle on my left, and peeing sounds on my right. Then, the one of my right decided to take an effing smoke. I nearly died.

I clocked 29 seconds for 200m... Need. Speed. ><

I Love My Stupid New Old Computer

It's empty. My computers never been this empty, its like, so unpersonified. But heck, its fast, and problem-free as of date, and I love Tata now, because he recommended the place. But WAIT, I'm having a flashback; he said it was in front of Bata, and in front of Bata was a video game store. Common sense saved the cat - when curiousity killed it. Though I'm not a cat, I'm human.

But NEVERTHELESS, I'm happy. But I have unfinished Sejarah notes due next month for two chapters and certain people in Alpha have done till Chapter Four.......

aaaaaa

*slaps self*

I shall not moan, not so early comrades. Nada. Nil.

I love filling this blog with nonsense whatever's.

And I love (for now) my stupid new old computer. *worships*

And I love the people who've been waiting for my resurrection =D

I'm baaaack...

Blue Christmas

Merry Christmas
blogger babes and... babettes? Haha!

I hereby proclaim myself sane and sober this beautiful Christmas morning. Joy to the world! And my previous sentence only proves that I'm not, so yeah. Last night was fun, very noisy. My cousins lil gang reminds me of the Sexylicious, I miss you guys soooo much ya know?? Ish. Wish you guys were here.

Anyways after mass everybody flooded out of the compound and it was a cacophony of handshakes, hugs, kisses, and wishes of 'Merry Christmas!' and soon we didn't bother looking for people. Just hangged with 'da gang', you know, the loud one. It was fun and all la, but I feel so ostracised. You know, in a crowd where everybody knows each other and is basically related, you don't just fit in like voila! But it was cool, especially when Alex (cousin) picked up his guitar and we made a lot of noise with Christmas carols which I know less than half the words to. And the whole time my brain was like, 'If only they were here'; 'So like us'; 'Sigh'.

Then after that we went to some relatives house and made more noise. Haha! More singing, drinking, and the old men were smoking their cigaratte butts off.

The Declaration of Aileen.

Regardless of what I said before, I do get tipsy after 2 cans of Carlsberg.
Not drunk like, running around topless drunk, but slightly disorientated.
And if I do not talk crap, I feel sleepy.
I never tried a third can because of persuasive family members (some);
BUT... someday I will. =p

And yours truly has also discovered that...
Believe you me
When I get tipsy (I wanted to say drunk, but I've never been there yet =X)
I either...
1) Talk crap and am very happy (which is normal even without an alcohol level)
2) Knock off.

I did both last night/this morning. =]

Oh well gotta be off, will upload the pictures when I get home coz I didn't bring the cable. Going to naik motor with my FattyBoy cousin. Haha! Wish me a safe journey man! =X

Have yourself, a merry little christmas.... *sings*

dot dot dot

Yours truly is now in Kedah and is blogging without BIG FAT COUSIN bugging me, coz he's at church. Or he might sit on me for using his computer and I might just sink into the floor. I'm in Kedah, and its so small town with not enough pollutants in the air. I'm so shocked, haha!

Oh and I just remembered that there was something I forgot about day 2 at camp. After our glorious Tug of War victory, something happened. Sheena screamed 'Leech!', and I saw this black thing on Tata, and I scream for the heck of it XD and then Tata said 'Where?' and someone said 'There!' and he screamed, and danced. After 5 seconds, he turned to Darren, said 'Actually not pain also...' and continued screaming and dancing. Fun =D

Okay I'm lazy to talk about camp now. It was good, with one very huge exception. I contemplate not returning, because he said he'd be back next year. And like I told Mr Man Boobs, I think I'll hire a boyfriend cum bodyguard throughout the entire time, simply because I do not have the guts to 'Kick his balls so that he'll remember it for the rest of his life,' as said by somebody. I hate him... =/

I need to pee...

Fatty!

NEVER, EVER VOTE FOR TENGKU ADNAN. He is fat, fugly, wears thick glasses and is in need of braces and minty breath. On the last bit Qian Qian is asking, 'How dyou know he needs minty breath?' Well as he says such horrible, ugly, un-nice things... How could he not?

"Bloggers are liars. They use all sort of ways to cheat others. From what I know, out of 10 000 unemployed bloggers, 8 000 are women. Bloggers like to spread rumours, they don't like national unity. Today our country has achievements because we are tolerant and compromising. Otherwise we will have civil war.

"Malays will kill Chinese, Chinese will kill Malays, Indians will kill everybody else."

Tengku Adnan,

Tourism Munister (BN)

The fatty is the last one btw. Lets organise a riot! =D And get thrown into prison. My driving lecturer says that prisons are pretty now. Lets go see, eh? =P

Randomness

I'm back! And I'm not sure if anyone is still willing to read about camp, so I'll put the unorthodox stuff here. =)

Day 1
Firstly, thanks to Keith's 'It will take a pretty long time to get to Terminal Putra so you'd better leave early', I and my brother was there the first. Idiot XD. But then all was well, and I was high so things were good and I love bus 2 so yeah. But then before we boarded I saw this man with a PCK-like mole, but it was a kazillion times worse because while PCK had ONE hair, he had... many. The whole thing looked like a furry parasite stuck to his face and I just had to laugh, and laugh... and laugh. I vaguely remember Vina and Melody trying to shush me, and Keith calling me evil, but still laughing himself.

And so I laughed my way on the bus. And was still happy happy with the Sexylicious at the back of the contraption until we realised; the rest of the bus was excruciatingly silent. And so began a series of plans made to wake everybody up, led by Nicholas. it nearly worked. Really XD.

Ooh, and I remember Keith only emo-ed once throughout the entire camp; which was on Day 1, so that was good =)

And the Dragons (my team) got a red flag. Yay! I (and perhaps Sheena), wanted to give a hot, steaming, sexy name worth of mention, but some people are so hemophobic (did I get it right Sheena? Did I?). Oh, and the Dragons argued a lot. A LOT. Take my word for it.

Day 2

Bamboo rafting! The lake so bloody pathetic. Its like, so stagnant, and murky; but not as bad as KKB. Dragons and Raging Rockets combined to create a super power powered by expert raft-makers. Haha! Okay I don't know what I'm saying. But my group won the tug of war! The basis of the game is actually quite primitive. Two rafts, facing away from each other, whose butts are connected by a length of rope with markers on em. And the kuli on each side just rows until one successfully pulls the other to a specific point.

White water rafting was good, but not exciting enough. Haha I didn't expect Sheena to do so well, grats girl! *hugs* And Jacky is such a bitch, but at that time I didn't know... When we were moving to the mother rapids, he put his arms around me, and at that time I didn't think much of it. And that will have to wait for another post. ><

* * *

I had three dreams in three nights, all a continuation from the next. The first two freaked me out to no end, but the third was okay, because I told you and you made me feel better.

Welcome home darling =)

Sunday, December 16, 2007

My internet is down, and something just happened that made my whole post delete. SO WAIT.

Or don't come back.

G'day ya'll =)

Ponder This

I believe the creator of chain mail the Hitler of the internet, risen from oblivion to terrorize the lives of innocent internet users. Yet occasionally I would get an inspiring email out of hundreds of lousy ones, and I just have to share it. And still I refuse to be sucked into the chain mail plague.

And so my neurons worked out this brilliant, devious, masterplan...

Post it here!

Mwahahahahaha!!

Anyways, this is an explanation for all the emails I've been putting up =)

Its not plagarism! I edit, and whatever goes up is mostly void of typos aite?

* * *

And now that all is said and done, here's another one for you guys to digest. Imagine me shoving a dustbin lid sized thing of whatever befits your imagination. Naaaah!

Yellow = Personal favourites
Blue = Contradicting but still okay.

Nobody is perfect until you fall in love with them.
So true... Was discussing this with one of my cousins yesterday over the phone; he was on a personal mini-survey on what makes guys attractive. Well I told him, 'its everything, and nothing'. Go figure. haha

Love starts with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear.
So where does the sex and marriage, and screaming kids go? XD

Don't cry over anyone who won't cry over you.
Yeah! Personal favourite. =)

What do you do when the only person who can make you stop crying is the person who made you cry?
No comment man. But this is brutal.

If love isn't a game, why are there so many players?
There isn't enough love to go around. People don't/can't get enough of it. Duh.

Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget.

You can only go as far as you push!

Actions speak louder than words.
Classic.

Don't let the past hold you back, you're missing the good stuff.

A best friend is like a four leaf clover, hard to find and lucky to have.
I have no luck, thats why I don't have one.

Some people make the world special by just being in it.
Why can't everybody make the world special??

Best friends are the siblings God forgot to give us.
If they were your siblings they wouldn't be your best friend. You'd probably just end up fighting more than anything.

When it hurts to look back, and you're scared to look ahead, you can look beside you and your best friend will be there.
Refer to the above, above.

Good friends are like stars....you don't always see them, but you know they are always there.

Don't frown, you never know who is falling in love with your smile.
Cheese! =D

Everything is okay in the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end.
Ew, so wrong! But then... Its kind of true. Ish ><

Most people walk in and out of your life, but only friends leave footprints in your heart.

If u love something...let it go.
If it comes back to you its yours....
If it doesn't then it never was.

A kiss is just a kiss until you find the one you love.
A hug is just a hug until its from the one ur thinking of.
A dream is just a dream until you make it come true.
LOVE is just a word until it's proven to you.

After Lots of Animals... Finally

Shopping/window shopping in Pavilion is both orgasmic and painful. Not unlike sex for the first time; not that I've experienced that, just read. The shops are so absolutely beautifully packed with drool-worthy outfits worthy of crying with joy, or pain. The joy part is pretty obvious, but pain? Pain I say, because simpletons such as myself could never afford it. And I shall not gush over them, whine, or ever so much as mention them at home in fear of my father overhearing; he has a compulsive habit to buy me everything, even if he later complains about it. An example? My iPod. Though the latter hasn't happened yet.

The moment captured. Including Hui Ning's lame look. XD

Anyways, the purpose of this expedition was to shop for Amirah's prom dress. You can just hear my eyes glinting. So anyway, I followed my mom to work, met up with Hui Ning at KLCC and we strolled around as the shops opened. Fooled around in Chameleon for a bit. I just love watching her tortured face as I display some horrid hairbands that have an exact, if not close resemblance to the Harajuku style.

Notice the little pink crown? What a princess wannabe. Haha!

Around that time, Amirah finally wakes up in pajamas and bullies Pak Wahid (Mr Driver) into fetching us to Pavilion. XD She going to contemplate my murder for this post anyway, so I've decided to push my luck.

Being there, I have to admit that it was the first time I walked into a high end label with a sense of purpose and direction. And ooh, there was this store which had the most jaw-dropping, head-spinning, chic, classy, glamourous sh*t heaven of a dressing room. I didn't get a picture coz Amirah-la... Walk out so fast. Buffoon. Pffft.

I'm surprised at the lack of SBU-ians there, save one. But we'll get there later.

Candid dressing room shot. She's quite convinced its the dress for her. She feels like a princess in it - so says she =). And it does complement her curves nicely. To Amirah : *nudge* Harris will lurve it! Unless you find something else later la, but he'll still love it, yes?

At Zara, we found the dress. Sure it looks like synthetic curtain on the hangar but with some prodding and pushing, Hui Ning and I managed to get her to try it so we could pick some stuff out too. ;) Ironically, we all tried the same dress, only Mira's was black and Hui Ning and I donned brown. But I lazy to snap coz I think it looks fugly on me.

Perasan-tedness! But she has curves to, my darling.

The most fun places were Topshop and Forever 21. I like lah, the skirts, the jacket... The stuff I tried on. Hope they have pasar malam imitations or something, I'm not picky =)

I'm the only teenager among the aunties. We made so much noise, I'm surprised they didn't throw us out.

Did I mention that Amirah walks into Forever 21, all hyper, says 'I'm definitely going to get something here', but later doesn't try anything, and broods over 3 pendants which she thinks she should buy after we leave the store. Did I also mention that she has about 300 moolah in her purse? Seriously, Amirah and Hui Ning are so fickle. But hey, its good to consider, reconsider, and re-reconsider too; especially if that pendant is priced at RM40+. What a double edged sword.

I want! I like! I love! Too bad short skirts are forever forbidden to me. *whines*

The dress Hui Ning says she'll wear when pregnant

Later embarked on a Starbucks hunting trip and bumped into Aiman on opposite escalators; we're going down, he's going up.

Amirah : Aiman!!
(Aiman turns)
Aiman : Hey! *raises hand*waves*
Muah : Hey Aiman! *jumps*
Aiman : *Continues waving* To Amirah: Hey!; To Hui ning: Hey!; To me: Eh didn't see you!

And so we conclude our journey with an absolutely sinful chocolate ice blended for Amirah and I, and hideous chilled coffee thing for Hui Ning. Poor girl, but I guess that happens. It overlooks the new cinema and we vow to our new gorgeous, overpriced, hangout.

The End.

Be Safe

Edward is gone, he got adopted. And I was so hoping to see him today. Oh well, I hope he has a good home now... Probably being called Rocky again; the name given to him by the Indian lady who dumped him there.

There are so many things running through my mind right now, just imagine standing at the edge of a railway station on the yellow line, trying to catch the details in each window frame that passes. My thoughts are the people, the different details in each window I peer through. But with a gust of wind that sweeps my hair back, and momentarily blinds me, the train had its back turn toward me, getting smaller as it left the tracks of vision. And as the wind tickles my hair one last time, whispering some forgotten farewell, it was gone.

And there is nothing left to write. No story to tell, just a longing. I wish I had jumped on that train instead of watching the doors close between, afraid that you'd push me out. I wish I was brave enough to take the fall. But I'm not.

And you'll never know how much
I cried
I worry everytime you extend your leave in some far off place
I pray for you
I still choke on that stupid word, which I can't say, even here.
I need to tell you
Because I never will grow the balls to tell you.

It Stinked, And It Rocked

The building was ancient and crumbling, the whole place stunk of a putrid odour, and there was sound pollution. It rocked =D. Did my first stint at SPCA as a volunteer today. It was as hard as I imagined, lots of hard work. But it was all worth it. Some dogs were vicious creatures not worth glancing at because they're evil and they bark. But you do grow attached to some.

Like Andy, he prefers cats to dogs but still he favoured a certain unchristined puppy. Unfortunately, it got adopted today. The family dumped one black puppy, and took that one. The look on his face was purely dumbfounded with a hint of anger and frustration. We suspect that that family had a litter too big for them to handle, so they gave two away. Now they came back with the third. And took another in its place! grr

I love Edward. He's 'my' dog now. =)

* * *

There was more to this post before this window kaput-ed on me yesterday, but to keep peace, I've decided not to retype this part.

Let sleeping dogs lie. Lol.

My two most favourite material objects in one masterpiece. *sigh*
